Defensa y Justicia remain at the top of the Fase Complementacion’s group A alongside next Saturday’s opponents on seven points following their convincing 2-1 home win over Patronato, with Nicolas Leguizamon netting a brace. El Halcon extended their unbeaten run to four matches in top-flight action, winning three and drawing one. On away turf, Hernan Crespo’s men managed five points in as many matches in this competition. Coach Hernan Crespo will field an alternative XI again in view of the upcoming Copa Sudamericana’s game at Coquimbo Unido next Wednesday in the first leg of the semi-finals.

Whoever win this game will be almost the group winner and will reach the “complementary zone” final, but with Defensa playing their most important game ever in a few days (the first Copa Sudamericana semi final) I can’t imagine them being very focused on this match.
