Argentinos Juniors showed an interesting version in the Liga Profesional opener, beating Rosario Central 3-2 at home in a thrilling match. El Bicho took their first three points in this competition and extended their unbeaten streak in league action to nine matches (four victories and five stalemates in regular time), holding onto their spot in the 2025 Copa Libertadores. Argentinos claimed a single victory across their last 12 away games in domestic action, along with six stalemates and five losses. On Tuesday 14, Argentinos lost 4-0 away at SC Corinthians from Brazil in a Copa Sudamericana group match.

If one thing is sure about Racing is that they are a good attacking team. They scored 4 in the first round (but also conceded 4) and then another 3 in the Copa Sudamericana midweek game. Argentinos Jrs were eliminated from Copa Sudamericana so now their focus is 100% in the league, where last week they also started with a high scoring game in the 3-2 win vs Rosario Central. Everything says this should be also a high scoring game, so I’ll go for the OVER.
