Patronato vs Tigre
Patronato keep holding onto their hope to avoid the drop. Last Thursday, they managed a massive 3-1 away success at CA Central Cordoba in a big relegation clash. Having lost only one of their last four league matches (along with two victories and one draw), Facundo Sava’s men made it 11 points in the Liga Profesional. Despite this worthy campaign, El Patron remain occupying the bottom place of the relegation table (11 points behind the first safe spot).
Meanwhile, Tigre displayed a great effort to secure a massive 2-1 home success over Estudiantes last Sunday. Thanks to that win, El Matador put an end to their six-match winless streak of three draws and three defeats in league action to make it nine points in eight rounds in the Liga Profesional, which also allows them to approach the continental spots in the 2022 aggregate table on their return to the top flight. On a sorry note, Diego Martinez’s men are on three away games without a win, having drawn one and lost two since beating Union Santa Fe 2-1 in round one.
Patronato has been playing decently despite knowing that they will be most likely relegated in a few months, and I like this odds for them not to lose.
