Patronato vs Aldosivi
Patronato took another step towards the second division last Friday, when they succumbed to a 2-0 away defeat at Gimnasia LP after a poor performance. El Patron took a single point from six on offer in the Liga Profesional so far. In fact, they are on four league games without a win, having drawn one and lost three in that spell. As a result, El Patron remain bottom-placed in the relegation table, 14 points from safety. At home, Patronato are winless in the last four too, drawing one and losing three. Striker Jonathan Herrera will be able to return after missing the last league game due to a muscle injury.
Aldosivi are finding trouble at the moment. Last Friday, the team suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Estudiantes in an uneventful game. Therefore, they are the only pointless team in the Liga Profesional and also made it seven league matches without a win (one draw and six losses since beating Rosario Central at home in April. Following this negative streak, El Tiburon continue edging closer to the relegation zone (they are only three points above the first drop spot, occupied by Godoy Cruz). Â
Every game is a must win game for Patronato since they are deep down in the relegations table, and specially when they play against teams in a similar situation like Aldosivi. A goal should open this up as neither can afford a defeat, so I think it should go OVER.
