Argentine Primera Division: Lanus vs Tigre Odds for February 28, 2022

Lanus vs Tigre

Lanus deflated their performance again last time out. In fact, the team lost 2-1 away at Estudiantes, but the hosts deserved a larger lead. El Granate remain on three points in as many matches in the Copa Liga Profesional after one win and two losses under boss Jorge Almiron. The team lost five of their last nine league matches, winning one and drawing three in that time. On a positive note, Lanus are on seven home games unbeaten in domestic action, having won two and drawn five since losing to Newell’s Old Boys in September.

Tigre celebrated their first victory in their return to the top flight last Monday, when beating Barracas Central 2-0 away at Huracan with Pablo Magnin and Ijiel Protti finding the back of the net. El Matador made it five points from nine on offer in the Copa Liga Profesional and ten league games unbeaten (six wins and four draws). Furthermore, Tigre are on five away matches without defeat, having won three and drawn two in that time.

Lanus will have legendary striker Lautaro Acosta back from injury, with him they will have an even more powerful attack, but Tigre is a good attacking team as well shown by the 4 goals scored in 3 rounds, so I like the Over here.
