Lanus vs Aldosivi

Lanus’ crisis doesn’t seem to be coming to an end. Last Sunday, the side put up a good fight at Gimnasia LP, but they ended up losing 1-0 away under interim coach Rodrigo Acosta after conceding in the first half. As a result, El Granate extended their winless run to six league games (having grabbed a single point in that time) and continue sitting in the penultimate berth of the league table, accumulating only six points in ten matches.

Aldosivi showed their effort, but could do nothing against River Plate’s offensive power and succumbed to a devastating 3-0 home defeat last Sunday. Leandro Somoza’s men extended their winless streak to four league games (one draw and three defeats), which places them bottom in the Liga Profesional table, having secured only five points in ten rounds. Following this negative campaign, El Tiburon remain occupying one of the relegation spots in the respective rankings (one point behind CA Central Cordoba, who are safe for now).

The bottom two teams of the league meet here, a draw is completely useless so I have to expect an open game with both going for the win they really need.
