Lanus – Belgrano

Lanus fans will have felt heartbroken after the team’s 2-2 away stalemate at River Plate last Sunday, when they conceded the equaliser in the fourth minute of stoppage time. However, El Granate are going through a five-match unbeaten streak of two victories and three draws to make it nine points in Liga Profesional action, which allows them to hold onto their Copa Sudamericana berth in the aggregate table. Lanus won their last two domestic matches at Estadio Nestor Diaz Perez (at Estudiantes and Racing Club).

Belgrano keep their standards up after the Copa America break. Last Friday, the team managed a highly celebrated 2-1 home success over Deportivo Riestra, with goals from Nicolas Fernandez and Franco Jara.
