Instituto vs Atletico Tucuman
Instituto struggled more than expected in their visit to San Martín SJ (one of the main relegation candidates), drawing 0-0 despite playing over half an hour with a man advantage. La Gloria continue their highly inconsistent campaign, with 12 points in the Torneo Clausura from two wins, six draws, and three defeats — a record that leaves them outside the playoff zone and far from contention for international cup qualification. Instituto have collected six points from six home matches this semester, with one win, three draws, and two losses. Damián Puebla misses out again due to an ankle issue.
Atlético Tucumán delivered a solid performance last weekend, earning a 2-0 home win over defending league champions Platense, with goals from Ramiro Ruiz Rodríguez and Ignacio Galván. With their second victory in the last three rounds (alongside one defeat), El Decano reached 15 points in the Torneo Clausura and moved into the playoff spots in Group B
Both have been unstable and very irregular so far this season but I rate Atletico Tucuman as a better team so despite their struggles to get points away from home, I’ll trust them here.
