Independiente new coach Eduardo Dominguez had a sorry debut at the club as his team produced a poor performance and ended up losing 2-1 at Estudiantes in the season opener. El Rojo managed a single victory in their last four games in league action, along with one draw and two defeats in that time. However, they also have been unbeaten in the last six domestic games at their own stadium, having won three and drawn three since losing to Godoy Cruz 4-1 in September.
Coach Leonardo Madelon made his debut at Sarandi Arsenal last Friday and his team had to settle for a 1-1 home draw against Rosario Central in an uneventful game, with Sebastian Lomonaco finding the back of the net in his return to the club. The team remain winless in their last five matches in league action, having drawn three and lost two, which places them in the 22nd spot of the relegation table.
Both showed in the 1st round that they can score but are also vulnerable in defense, so I expect to see goals here.
