Huracan vs Velez
Huracan are now bottom-placed in the relegation table following their 1-1 away draw at Godoy Cruz last Saturday, when Jonathan Candia missed a penalty in the second half. El Globo have been winless in their last six league matches (four stalemates and two losses) to accumulate seven points in the Liga Profesional. Three of those winless games took place at Estadio Tomas Adolfo Duco: Huracan drew two and lost one. Enrique Triverio, Raul Lozano, Jose Moya and Fabian Henriquez are still recovering from their respective injuries and will miss out.
After three draws and three defeats, Velez Sarsfield celebrated their first victory in the Liga Profesional last Saturday, when beating Lanus 5-1 at home following an enjoyable performance. Thanks to that victory, El Fortin made it six points in this tournament and climbed into second spot in the 2021 aggregate table, holding onto one of the Copa Libertadores places.
Velez finally got out of the slump they were in last weekend with a big win against Lanus, and now with more confidence they should take the 3 points against a poor Huracan.
