Huracan vs Union
Huracan registered their second stalemate in as many league matches under coach Sebastian Battaglia in round 17, when they drew 0-0 away at Sarmiento in an entertaining match. El Globo are still performing a disappointing campaign, occupying 21st spot of the league table on 18 points after three winless matches in this competition (two draws and one loss). Overall, Huracan registered three victories, three stalemates and two defeats at Estadio Tomas Duco in domestic action this term. On Thursday 25, they drew 2-2 at home against CS Emelec from Ecuador in a Copa Sudamericana group game.
Union Santa Fe finally claimed their first victory under coach Sebastian Mendez in round 17, when they won 1-0 away in a heated six-pointer against CA Central Cordoba thanks to a strike from Enzo Roldan in the 86th minute. That victory put an end to a nine-game winless streak of three draws and six defeats. However, El Tatengue remain bottom-placed in the Liga Profesional table on 12 points (with one game in hand). Their victory in the last game also put an end to a terrible away streak: they hadn’t won any of the previous 18 games in domestic action, drawing nine and losing nine.
Union are desperate for points, Huracan looked good in attack midweek in their Copa Sudamericana game, so I’ll go for the low totals line here.
