Huracan vs Rosario Central
After Facundo Sava’s departure, Huracan played far below expectations under interim boss Walter Coyette and recorded a disappointing scoreless stalemate in a boring derby against San Lorenzo at home. As a result, El Globo extended their winless streak to six league games, drawing two and losing four. That negative run means the side accumulated only five points in seven Copa Liga Profesional matches so far. In fact, Huracan remain without a win as the hosting side this term, having drawn two and lost one.
Rosario Central became victorious in the derby again following a great display of effort last Sunday, when they managed to beat Newell’s Old Boys 1-0 away thanks to a strike from Ignacio Malcorra in the second half. The defending champions made it two consecutive wins and three in their last four league matches (along with a single defeat) to accumulate 11 points in the Copa Liga Profesional, still out of the playoff spots in the group A table. In fact, it’s been Central’s first away success of the season after one draw and two defeats on the road.
Huracan has been just awful so far this season and they will be here under an interim coach again, Rosario Central comes from the big morale boost that is winning the derby vs Newell’s so I have to expect them to avoid a defeat here.
