Huracan vs Lanus

Thanks to a header from Franco Cristaldo in the 71st minute, Huracan avoided the defeat in the derby and registered a 1-1 away draw at San Lorenzo last Saturday. However, the team also extended their winless run to seven matches in league action (two draws and five defeats) and accumulated only two points in three games this term (with one in hand). El Globo took a single point from the last nine available at their own stadium.

Lanus claimed a hard-fought 2-1 home success over Atletico Tucuman last Saturday thanks to Matias Esquivel’s strike in the 89th minute of the game. Therefore, Luis Zubeldia’s men made it nine points from 12 on offer to occupy after registering three victories and a single defeat so far to climb into the top of the table in group B (alongside Independiente and Velez Sarsfield).

Can’t expect much from this very poor Huracan, Lanus should score against them without much trouble but they will have a couple of missings in defense so I expect this to be an open game.
