Huracan vs Barracas Central
Huracan grabbed a valuable point on their visit to newcomers Instituto, drawing 0-0 away in an intense match last Sunday. As a result, Diego Dabove’s men accumulated seven points after three rounds, now trailing league leaders Lanus by two. El Globo succumbed to a single defeat across their last eight matches in league action, having won five and drawn two. At home, Huracan seem unbeatable at the moment: they grabbed 25 points from the last 27 available since losing to Gimnasia LP 1-0 in July.
Barracas Central deflated their performance last Monday and had to settle for a lucky 1-1 home draw against Union Santa Fe after being dominated for most of the time. El Guapo have been irregular this season so far, accumulating four points in the first three Liga Profesional rounds. However, they suffered a single defeat across the last seven matches in league action, winning two and drawing four in that spell. Furthermore, Barracas are on three away games unbeaten, with two victories and one draw since losing to Aldosivi 2-0 in October.
Huracan is the top scoring team with 7 goals in 3 games but they’ve also conceded 4 and it’s not a surprise because their best defender, Lucas Merolla, is out due to some contractual issues. While I expect them to win here, I’d rather go with the OVER as I expect to see an open game between the top two scoring teams of the first 3 weeks.
