Argentine Primera Division: Huracan vs Banfield odds for February 06, 2023

Huracan vs Banfield

After finishing in fifth spot in 2022, Huracan keep their standards up. The team showed an enjoyable performance in the season opener, when they beat Defensa y Justicia 4-2 away in an entertaining game. Therefore, Diego Dabove’s men grabbed the first three points of the year and also made it four wins across the last six domestic matches, drawing one and losing one in that spell. At home, El Globo have been strong lately: they managed 22 points from the last 24 available.

Banfield continue facing trouble to overcome their irregularity: they started off the new season with a scoreless home draw against Union Santa Fe in an uneventful game last Monday. Even though the point counts for them to continue escaping the relegation zone, El Taladro are now on three league matches without a win, drawing two and losing one and also without scoring in that time.

Huracan scored 4 against Defensa last week and then 4 again midweek in a Copa Argentina game, they look strong but will miss their best defender Lucas Merolla due to contract issues, so even though I think they should win I’ll go with the OVER here as I can imagine them conceding.
