Huracan – Central Cordoba
Huracán continue to struggle with inconsistency. On Matchday 12, the team put in a very poor performance and fell 2-0 away to Aldosivi, one of the main relegation candidates. With just one win in their last seven league matches (four draws and two defeats), El Globo have dropped out of the Copa Sudamericana qualification zone in the overall table. On the positive side, they remain in the playoff spots with 16 points in Group A. At home, Huracán have collected ten of the last 15 points available. Hernán Galíndez returns after international duty with the Ecuador national team. On the other hand, Leonardo Gil succumbed to a knee problem and will miss out.
CA Central Córdoba got back to winning ways at just the right time. In Matchday 12, the team delivered a convincing performance to defeat Unión Santa Fe 3-1 at home, ending a four-match winless streak in the league (two draws and two losses) and climbing back into the playoff zone in Group A with 18 points. On the downside, Central have earned only two points from their last nine available away from home. Juan Pablo Pignani has served his suspension and is available to return on Wednesday.
Huracan has been really poor so far this semester, they are in a terrible run and they also have big problems to score goals: they have only 6 in 12 games making them the 2nd worst attack just one more than the soon to be relegated Aldosivi. Central Cordoba are in the playoffs zone, they will see a draw as a good result and I think they can get it.
