Huracan – Barracas Central

Huracan had to settle for a 1-1 away draw at Tigre last Friday despite having taken the first lead through Franco Cristaldo. Therefore, they lost a big chance in their fight for the title. The team are now on 32 points in the Liga Profesional (trailing leaders Atletico Tucuman by two) after seven matches unbeaten (four victories and three draws). Furthermore, El Globo remain into the Copa Sudamericana zone in the 2022 aggregate rankings. Huracan also are on three consecutive victories at home, having beaten Sarmiento, Newell’s Old Boys and CA Central Cordoba in the process.

Barracas Central showed an improved version last Thursday and managed a solid 2-0 home success over Lanus with Pablo Mouche and Bruno Sepulveda scoring. The team accumulated 23 points in the Liga Profesional after winning three and losing two of their last five games. Thanks to this worthy campaign, El Guapo are close to securing their top-flight status for next season. On a sorry note, Barracas managed a single point from the last 15 available since beating Talleres 2-0 in round seven.

Again I’m going for the over in a Barracas game. They have the 2nd worst defense in the league with 26 goals conceded but a decent attack with 20 goals, Huracan has been solid at home, so I expect an open game here.
