Godoy Cruz vs Platense
Godoy Cruz managed an important point on their visit to Rosario Central following a 2-2 draw with playmaker Renzo Tesuri netting a brace. After several consecutive poor campaigns, the team seems to be slightly improving with coach Sebastian Mendez back in the dugout, having taken four points this season as a product of one win, one draw and one defeat. However, they still hold the worst points-average excluding the newly-promoted teams.
Platense were stubborn and determined to take on River Plate last weekend, but they ended up losing 1-0 at home in spite of having fought hard, which broke their 12-match unbeaten run of five victories and seven draws in regular time. The newly-promoted side accumulated three points in two games this season (with one in hand).

Godoy Cruz is showing serious signs of improvement and they should be able to beat this Platense that will miss 4 regulars due to injuries.
