Godoy Cruz vs Central Cordoba
Godoy Cruz are improving since the arrival of coaches Favio Orsi and Sergio Gomez, but that’s not yet enough to get a win. Last time out, the team registered an unlucky 1-1 home draw against Lanus which extended their winless streak to six league games (five stalemates and a single loss). El Tomba are on 13 points in group B and continue occupying one of the relegation places in the respective table, trailing Atletico Tucuman and Sarandi Arsenal (who are safe) by two.
CA Central Cordoba put up a good fight against Boca Juniors last time out, but they ended up losing 2-1 at home. The side have produced a decent campaign, with 14 points in 12 games, but they also won only one of their last five league games (drawing two and losing two). This negative streak places them only six points above the relegation zone in the respective table. El Ferroviario have been confident on away turf this term, registering two victories, three stalemates and one loss.
Nothing to play for these two teams, except for points that will be important in the future for the relegations table, so I expect an open game like it’s usual with these two poor defenses.
