Gimnasia vs Estudiantes
Gimnasia LP were dominated from beginning to end last Sunday and succumbed to a heartbreaking 4-0 away defeat at River Plate. It was their fourth consecutive game without a win in league action (one draw and three losses since beating San Lorenzo in round two). El Lobo remain on five points in six matches, which is a poor campaign for them.
After four victories and a single draw, Estudiantes finally succumbed to their first defeat in the Copa Liga Profesional: it was last Sunday, when the team lost 1-0 at home to Boca Juniors following Ricardo Zielinski’s decision to rotate some of his players. However, El Pincha remain as group B leaders on 13 points, holding a two-point gap over Colon, who occupy second spot. Furthermore, they are on five away matches unbeaten in domestic action, having won two and drawn three.
Estudiantes is definitely the best team of these two, this is another big derby that they usually dominate and I expect them to win.
