Estudiantes vs Barracas
Estudiantes continue increasing their tally. Last Monday, the team secured an important point on their visit to newly-promoted side Instituto, drawing 0-0 in an intense match. As a result, Eduardo Dominguez’s men made it ten matches unbeaten in league action, with seven victories and three stalemates in that spell. Thanks to that streak, El Pincha continue occupying the last Copa Libertadores berth in the league table, accumulating 32 points. At home, Estudiantes are without defeat in their last seven in this competition, winning five and drawing two since losing to Lanus in round three.
Barracas Central are starting to find their best version under coach Sergio Rondina. Last Sunday, they managed three massive points by beating second-placed San Lorenzo 1-0 at home with Alexis Dominguez netting the winner in the first half. Therefore, El Guapo are now on five league games unbeaten (two victories and three draws) to make it 22 points in the Liga Profesional table, leaving relegation threats behind. On a sorry note, Barracas haven’t claimed any wins in their last seven away matches, drawing four and losing three since beating Sarmiento 5-3 in week two.
Barracas has improved since the coach change but they still find trouble playing away and Estudiantes at home should be too much for them.
