Deportivo Riestra – Lanus

Deportivo Riestra continue showing their home strength. El Guapo made it two victories across their last three league matches to accumulate 12 points in the Liga Profesional table, opening a three-point gap over bottom-placed Independiente Rivadavia in the point-average table. In fact, Riestra won their last three at their own stadium without even conceding.

Lanus returned to winning ways last Sunday, securing a massive 3-2 home victory over Tigre with Walter Bou netting the winner 90th minute of a thrilling clash. As a result, El Granate made it four wins and three draws across their last eight Liga Profesional matches (along with a single defeat) to accumulate 15 points in this competition, which allows them to hold onto one of the Copa Sudamericana berths in the aggregate table.
