Defensa y Justicia vs Union
Defensa y Justicia enjoyed a brilliant night on Monday, producing their best performance of the season so far and earning a resounding 5–2 victory away to San Lorenzo de Almagro. As a result, El Halcón moved into the playoff places in Group A with 16 points and remain unbeaten in the Torneo Apertura —three wins and seven draws—.
Unión de Santa Fe once again showed the solidity that has defined their season on Sunday night, although they had to settle for a 1–1 draw at home against Boca Juniors after taking the lead. Even so, El Tatengue continue to produce an excellent campaign relative to their resources: they are now unbeaten in six matches —three wins and three draws— and have accumulated 16 points, which leaves them very comfortably inside the playoff places in Group A.
Both are tied in 3rd place of Group A with 16 points but Defensa are still undefeated and coming from a brilliant performance in the 5-2 win at San Lorenzo, so I have to trust them at this odds against Union who won’t have midfielder Julian Palacios.
