Defensa y Justicia vs Godoy Cruz

 

Defensa y Justicia succumbed to a 2-1 away defeat at Huracan in their debut in the Liga Profesional in spite of having taken the first lead through a goal from Lucas Barrios. That result extended their winless run to nine matches in league action, during which they managed only two points. Four of those games took place at Estadio Norberto Tomaghello; Defensa registered two draws and two defeats.

Godoy Cruz left good impressions in their debut in the Liga Profesional last Monday, when they reversed the score to beat Rosario Central 2-1 at home thanks to goals from Bruno Leyes and Ezequiel Bullaude. Thanks to that victory, they opened a three-point gap over 25th-placed Aldosivi in the relegation table. Furthermore, El Tomba stopped a two-game losing run in league action. On away turf, Godoy Cruz won only one of the last six, along with three draws and two defeats.

Godoy Cruz played a decent game last week but it’s not enough to trust them, same as Defensa that conceded 6 goals in two games last week, so I expect an open game that will have goals.
