Rosario Central managed to put an end to their three-match winless run of one draw and two defeats last Monday, when beating Sarandi Arsenal 2-1 at home thanks to goals from Damian Martinez and Martin Rabunal. Therefore, El Canalla made it seven points in the first five rounds to climb into eighth spot in group A. On a sorry note, El Canalla lost their last three away matches to Lanus, River Plate and Racing Club.
