Colon vs Estudiantes
Colon saw their three-game unbeaten streak of two victories and one draw in the league coming to an end last Thursday, when they were beaten by Argentinos Juniors 3-1 away from home. However, the defending champions are performing a good campaign in the Liga Profesional, accumulating 26 points in 17 matches. At home, they have been confident lately: El Sabalero are unbeaten in the last seven league matches, having won four and drawn three since losing to Lanus in round two.
Estudiantes had to settle for a 1-1 home draw against Atletico Tucuman last Wednesday, when they found the equaliser through Leandro Diaz in the 88th minute. Therefore, the team are now on five league matches without a win, having drawn four and lost one. However, their campaign has been remarkable so far: El Pincha are on 27 points in 17 matches, which keeps them near the Copa Libertadores’ spots in the aggregate table.
Despite the midweek defeat I’m going to trust Colon again because at home they are stronger, while Estudiantes has been terribly irregular lately.
