Argentine Primera Division: Colon vs Central Cordoba Odds for May 29, 2023

Colon vs Central Cordoba

Colon are still going through a difficult moment of form. Last time out, the team showed a poor version and registered a disappointing 1-1 home draw against Barracas Central in an intense match. That result means El Sabalero claimed a single victory in their last four matches in league action, drawing one and losing two in that spell. Following that streak, El Sabalero are sitting into 23rd spot of the Liga Profesional table on 18 points, just six over arch-rivals Union Santa Fe, who are bottom as they hold one game in hand. On a positive note, Colon are unbeaten in their last seven matches at Estadio Brigadier Estanislao Lopez, winning two and drawing five.

CA Central Cordoba played one of their worst games of the season last time out, when they suffered an unexpected 1-0 home defeat to bottom-placed Union Santa Fe. Following that result, El Ferroviario are now on three league games without a win, having drawn one and lost two in that spell. Leonardo Madelon’s men remain on 19 points in the Liga Profesional table, which places them only four points above the first relegation spot in the point-average rankings, occupied by Platense. On a positive note, Central lost only one of their last four away games, winning two and drawing one.

With 15 and 12 goals scored respectively, Colon and Central Cordoba have two of the worst attacks in the league. They are both very unreliable, so I expect nothing but a tight game with few goal scoring chances.
