Colon – Atletico Tucuman

Colon fans should have felt gutted after their 1-1 away draw at Defensa y Justicia last Sunday, when the team conceded in the 90th minute. However, Eduardo Dominguez’s men have been producing a good campaign, accumulating 36 points in this competition after losing only one of their last four games (two wins and one stalemate). Colon lost their last home match (4-1 to Rosario Central) after nine games unbeaten at Estadio Brigadier Estanislao Lopez (six victories and three draws).

Atletico Tucuman are one of the worst teams in the league at the moment. Last Monday, the team succumbed to a devastating 3-0 away defeat at Union Santa Fe under interim boss Martin Anastacio in their first game after Pablo Guinazu’s departure. They extended their winless streak to seven league matches (two draws and five consecutive losses) and dropped down to the penultimate spot of the league table, accumulating only 21 points. Furthermore, El Decano are on seven away matches without a win, having drawn one and lost six since beating Newell’s Old Boys 2-1 in August.

Atletico has been conceding goals freely lately and they have the worst defense in the league with 42 conceded, so once again I’ll expect goals here as they face this good Colon team.
