Central Cordoba vs Tigre
After their first win of the year, CA Central Córdoba returned to their usual low standards last Sunday, when they were outplayed from start to finish and fell 2-0 in their visit to Instituto, who had not won until then. As a result, El Ferroviario have collected just four points from the first five matchdays of the Torneo Apertura and now have four defeats in their last six league matches (with one win and one draw in that span). At home, Central have been inconsistent, recording two wins, two draws, and two losses in their last six games.
Tigre remain in excellent form. Last week, they maintained their high level to secure a 1–0 home win over Aldosivi thanks to another goal from David Romero. As a result, they have collected 13 points from a possible 15 in the first five rounds of the Torneo Apertura and are now leaders in group B and also in the overall standings. In addition, Diego Dabove’s side extended their unbeaten league run to seven matches (five wins and two draws). Away from home, Tigre are unbeaten in four in league action (two wins and two draws in regular time).
Tigre are the best attacking team of the league with 11 goals scored in 5 rounds so even though Central Cordoba has struggled to score I definitely like the chance of having at least 2 goals like in almost Tigre game so far this season.
