Central Cordoba – Talleres

CA Central Cordoba put up a good fight on their visit to San Lorenzo last Saturday, but they weren’t effective up front and succumbed to a 1-0 away defeat. El Ferroviario earned only one point in the first two rounds and 18 in total this season, having won only one of their last ten league games (along with five draws and four losses). As hosts, Central made it only six points in seven games since this term started in February. All regulars are at Gustavo Coleoni’s disposal to host Talleres on Thursday.

Talleres climbed into one of the Copa Sudamericana spots in the aggregate table last Monday, when beating Sarandi Arsenal 2-0 at home thanks to goals from Carlos Auzqui and Diego Valoyes. That victory represented the team’s first three points in the Liga Profesional and also allowed them to break a four-game winless run in league action (two draws and two defeats in regular time).

Central Cordoba is weak at home but they definitely can score, Talleres is a solid attacking team as well as shown by the 4 goals they’ve scored in the first two rounds, so I expect goals here.
