Boca vs Estudiantes
Boca Juniors are still struggling to leave their crisis behind. Last time out, the side played a terrible match and suffered a deserved 2-0 away defeat at Argentinos Juniors (the rout could have been even heavier). It was their fourth loss across the last five Liga Profesional matches (along with a single win). Therefore, the defending champions remain on 12 points, occupying one of the mid-table places.
Estudiantes finally put an end to their five-match winless streak of one draw and four defeats in league action last Wednesday, when they managed to beat Barracas Central 3-1 at home. Thanks to that success, the team made it 11 points in the Liga Profesional and don’t give up on their fight to clinch a Copa Libertadores’ ticket via the aggregate table (El Pincha are now in fourth spot in the aggregate table, which gives them a big chance of qualifying for the 2023 Copa Libertadores).
Boca are completely unreliable and even though Estudiantes are not what they were last season, they still should be able to take something here.
