Boca vs Atletico TucumanÂ
Boca Juniors showed a poor version last weekend on their visit to Union Santa Fe and returned home empty-handed after a 1-0 loss. El Xeneize won only one of their last five league matches, drawing two and losing two. However, they remain occupying the last playoff berth in group B on 13 points, but the side are leading fifth-placed Independiente only by goal difference. Miguel Angel Russo’s men have been unconfident at home this term, managing a single victory along with three draws and one defeat in league action.
Atletico Tucuman extended their unbeaten run to four league matches (two draws and two straight victories) last Monday, when beating group leaders Velez Sarsfield 2-0 at home with Oscar Benitez and Augusto Lotti finding the back of the net. Suddenly, El Decano are trailing fourth-placed Boca Juniors by a single point, having accumulated 12 so far. Atletico managed four points in as many away games this term, having beaten Sarmiento two weeks ago after one draw and two losses.

Boca Juniors has been really far from their potential lately but I can’t imagine this going on for too long considering the quality in their squad.
