Boca Juniors vs Racing Club
Boca Juniors continue improving game after game. Last Tuesday, the team played one of their best matches of the season and managed a convincing 2-0 home success over Defensa y Justicia, with Sebastian Villa and Juan Ramirez scoring. El Xeneize extended their unbeaten streak to ten league games, having won six and drawn four since they were beaten by Huracan 1-0 at home in March.
Racing Club are flying high at the moment and will seek their third league title in eight years. Last Tuesday, the group A winners showed a perfect performance to beat Aldosivi 5-0 at home in the quarter-finals, with Carlos Alcaraz (2), Enzo Copetti (2) and Javier Correa scoring. Fernando Gago’s men seem unbeatable at the moment as they made it 16 league matches without defeat, having secured ten victories and six draws since losing 1-0 at Huracan in December.
Racing has been clearly the best team of this tournament. They are still undefeated, they come from a massive 5-0 win in the Quarterfinals and they will play this derby against this Boca that could miss one of their best players, Sebastian Villa, due to a domestic violence issue. I definitely see Racing advancing to the final and they definitely deserve it.
