Belgrano are still lacking confidence on their travels. Last time out, they found trouble to stop Defensa y Justicia and ended up suffering a deserved 2-0 away loss. That result represented their third defeat across the last five league matches, along with a single victory and one stalemate. Despite going through a poor run, El Pirata are performing very well in their return to the top flight, accumulating 31 points and currently qualifying for the 2024 Copa Sudamericana. Belgrano are on seven matches unbeaten as the hosting side, having won four and drawn three in that time.

Banfield weren’t able to stop the league leaders’ offensive power and ended up losing to River Plate 4-1 at home two weeks ago. El Taladro made it two consecutive defeats and five across the last eight matches in league action, along with one victory and two draws. That terrible streak means the side remain on 18 points in 20 matches, now sharing the relegation spot in the aggregate table with Velez Sarsfield and Huracan. To make matters worse, Banfield are on five away matches without a win, having drawn two and lost three since beating Talleres 1-0 in March.

Banfield has been just terrible this season and they should find trouble against the much more solid Belgrano.
