Belgrano vs Atletico Tucuman
Belgrano let a victory that seemed secured slip away last Friday, drawing 1–1 in their visit to Defensa y Justicia after conceding in the 96th minute despite playing with a man advantage. Although the result was disappointing given how the match unfolded, El Pirata are enjoying an excellent start to the new season, having collected 12 points in the Torneo Apertura, just three behind the leaders of Group B and the overall standings. The team coached by Ricardo Zielinski are now unbeaten in seven league matches (three wins and four draws). At home, they have gone seven without defeat, with two victories and five draws.
After securing their first win of the year, Atlético Tucumán were left empty-handed again last Friday, when they lost 2-1 away to Instituto after conceding in the second minute of stoppage time. El Decano recorded their fourth defeat in the last seven league matches (with one win and two draws) and have collected just five points from the opening six rounds of the Torneo Apertura. Moreover, Atlético extended their dreadful run on the road: they are now winless in 18 away matches, drawing only two and losing 16 of those.
Belgrano are still undefeated and playing good football with Zelarrayan and Vazquez leading their attack, they will face this poor Atletico Tucuman that will miss their two best strikers, Leandro Diaz and Ruiz Rodriguez so I expect the hosts to continue with this great run, take the 3 points and become leaders of their group.
