Barracas Central vs Huracan
Barracas Central’s impressive form has been stopped last weekend, when the team conceded twice in the last 15 minutes and ended up losing 2-0 away at Gimnasia LP. That result put an end to their seven-match unbeaten streak of four victories and three stalemates in the Copa Liga Profesional and prevented them from returning to the playoff spots in group A as El Guapo remain on 16 points, trailing fourth-placed Independiente by two. Barracas are without defeat in the last three as the hosting side, winning two and drawing one. They will host this one at Lanus on Sunday.
Huracan new coach Frank Kudelka had a rough debut in his third spell at the club: last Sunday, the team had to settle for a 1-1 home stalemate against Argentinos Juniors. El Globo remain producing a poor campaign, having won only one of their last nine league games (drawing three and losing five in that spell). Accumulating nine points so far, the side are virtually out of the fight for a ticket to the playoffs. Furthermore, Huracan are going through a four-match losing streak as the visiting side.
Can’t understand why such a low totals line considering Barracas has conceded in 4 of their last 5 games and also scored twice against good teams like Talleres, Independiente lately. They must win here or the playoffs spots could be too far at the end of this round for them, and Huracan is totally out of the playoffs, pretty much playing for nothing and should play an open game like their last 3 games that had two goals each.
