Barracas Central vs Estudiantes
Thanks to goals from Nicolas Ferreyra and Ivan Tapia, Barracas Central reversed the score to beat Huracan 2-1 away last Monday. That victory allowed them to stay out of the relegation zone as the newly-promoted side accumulated 12 points in nine matches, having won four of their last five games (along with a single defeat). El Guapo took six of those points across their four home matches (also at Huracan), winning two and losing two.
Estudiantes are the only group B leaders again (accumulating 18 points, two above Tigre, Aldosivi and Boca Juniors) thanks to their 5-0 home victory over CA Central Cordoba with Mauro Boselli netting a hat-trick. El Pincha also managed to stop a four-match winless streak of three draws and one defeat in the league. Ricardo Zielinski’s men are on seven away matches unbeaten in domestic action, having won two and drawn five since losing to Colon 2-1 in October.
The top attack of the league (Estudiantes, 20 goals scored in 9 games) will visit this irregular Barracas Central that has conceded goals in all games this season, so I have to expect an open game here.
