Barracas Central – Central Cordoba

Barracas Central played their best game of the season in round 15 and secured their first victory under coach Sergio Rondina, beating Instituto 3-0 at home. Thanks to that success, El Guapo put an end to their three-game winless streak of two draws and one defeat in league action and managed to make it 17 points in the Liga Profesional table, now holding a healthy eight-point gap over bottom-placed Union Santa Fe. At home, Barracas grabbed 11 points in eight games, winning three, drawing two and losing three so far.

CA Central Cordoba experienced a disappointing return to their own stadium last Monday, when they succumbed to a 1-0 home defeat in a heated relegation clash against Sarmiento. That result represented the team’s third loss across the last five league matches, alongside one victory and one draw. As a result, El Ferroviario remain on 18 points in the Liga Profesional table, which keeps them only six points above the first relegation spot in the point-average table, occupied by Platense.

Even though both need wins asap, I can see here a tight game. Both struggle to score and they average less than a goal per game, so I’ll go with the UNDER as both might like the draw.
