Barracas Central – Aldosivi

Barracas Central still have a lot of work to do in their adaptation to the top flight. Last Saturday, the team showed slight improvements but suffered a 2-1 away defeat to Colon (at Patronato) under interim boss Sergio Ramos after Rodolfo De Paoli’s departure. El Guapo remain pointless in the Copa Liga Profesional having lost all four games so far and of course occupy the bottom spot of the relegation table. As hosts, they lost to Tigre in round three (at Huracan), after three games unbeaten (two wins and one draw) at their own stadium (Barracas won’t be able to play there in the top flight for the whole season).

Aldosivi had to settle for a scoreless home draw against CA Central Cordoba in an uneventful game last Saturday. Therefore, Martin Palermo’s men have now managed four points in as many matches in the Copa Liga Profesional as a product of one victory, one stalemate and two defeats. The team are now nine points above the relegation zone, which is their main worry this season. El Tiburon lost two only two of their last seven away matches, having claimed three victories and two draws in that spell.

Sooner or later Barracas will have to get their first points of the season and for that they will have to definitely take risks, something dangerous against this Aldosivi that is good in attack, so I expect to see goals here.
