Banfield vs Huracan
Banfield fans will have felt devastated last Monday, when the team returned home empty-handed after a 1-0 away defeat to Union Santa Fe, conceding the winner in the 88th minute. In the context of an irregular campaign, El Taladro won only two of their last six league games, drawing one and losing three, dropping down to 19th spot of the aggregate rankings. Furthermore, Banfield secured a single point across their last three matches at Estadio Florencio Sola. Goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero continues to recover from a muscle injury.
Huracan prolonged their interesting moment of form in the Liga Profesional opener as they secured a convincing 3-1 home success over Defensa y Justicia last weekend.
