Atletico Tucuman finally broke their eight-game winless streak of three draws and five defeats last weekend by beating Talleres 3-0 at home, with Cristian Menendez netting a brace. As a result, the teamhold a two-point gap over the first relegation spot (occupied by Godoy Cruz) and also left the bottom spot of the group A table, accumulating ten points to leapfrog their last opponents, Patronato and Platense. On a sorry note, El Decano are on 14 away matches without a win, drawing four and losing ten in that spell. Â
Same situation as the other game, nothing to play for both but Atletico needs points for the relegation table and having one of the worst defenses in the league I can’t see how they won’t concede.
