Argentine Primera Division: Arsenal vs Union Odds – Nov 20, 2020

Sarandi Arsenal managed their first success in the Copa Liga Profesional last Saturday when beating Racing Club 2-0 away thanks to goals from Lucas Albertengo and Jonathan Candia. Thanks to that victory, El Viaducto stopped a three-game winless run (two draws and one defeat) and climbed into the second spot in group 1 on four points, leading Union Santa Fe by goal difference.

Union Santa Fe suffered their first defeat in this competition last Friday when losing at Atletico Tucuman 3-1 away. As a result, Juan Manuel Azconzabal’s men have dropped down to third spot of group 1 table on four points, trailing Sarandi Arsenal by goal difference. El Tatengue has claimed a single victory in their last five top-flight matches, drawing two and losing two. On away turf, Union won only one of their last seven in domestic action, along with two stalemates and four defeats. Union centre back Matias Nani tested positive for Covid-19 and will miss out, as will striker Fernando Marquez who remains recovering from the infection.

Both will miss their best strikers, Albertengo in Arsenal and Fernando Marquez for Union, plus the visitors have an important Copa Sudamericana game at Brazil next week, so it’s difficult to imagine an open game here and I’m going with the UNDER.
