Arsenal vs Huracan
Arsenal played one of their worst games in the Liga Profesional last Sunday and succumbed to a surprising 1-0 away defeat at bottom-placed Lanus. As a result, El Viaducto are now on three league matches without a win (two stalemates and one defeat), accumulating 18 points in the Liga Profesional. This irregular campaign places them only five points above the first relegation spot in the respective table, occupied by Aldosivi. At home, Arsenal managed ten points from 21 on offer following two victories, four draws and one defeat.
Thanks to a penalty netted by Matias Coccaro, Huracan secured a massive 1-0 home victory over Newell’s Old Boys last Saturday. As a result, the team made it four league matches unbeaten (three victories and one draw) to climb into third spot in the Liga Profesional table on 27 points, five points behind leaders Atletico Tucuman. Furthermore, they continue occupying one of the Copa Sudamericana spots in the aggregate rankings. Huracan have been without defeat in their last seven away matches, winning three and drawing four.
Huracan are not the most reliable team despite being in the top places, so I think Arsenal should be able to get something at home where they are strong and lost only 1 of 7 games this season.
