Arsenal vs Estudiantes
Sarandi Arsenal coach Carlos Ruiz had a disappointing debut as his team suffered a 1-0 away defeat at San Lorenzo despite showing a great display of effort. Having won only two of their last eight matches in league action (along with one draw and five losses), El Viaducto hold one of the worst points average in the relegation table, only above Belgrano and Instituto who have just reached the top flight. Arsenal have been quite irregular at home lately, winning two, drawing three and losing two of the last eight.
Estudiantes also are pointless in the Liga Profesional following their 2-1 home defeat to Tigre in an entertaining match last Saturday: it was a poor debut for coach Abel Balbo at the club. Following that result, El Pincha registered their third loss across the last four matches in league action, having won only one of those. To make matters worse, Estudiantes have been weak on the road lately: they are winless in their last 12 away matches, having drawn three and lost nine since beating Aldosivi 1-0 in June. On a positive note, striker Guido Carrillo is expected to be available after succumbing to a muscle problem shortly before the last game.
Totals line feels short here as both teams are capable of scoring (specially Estudiantes with experienced strikers like Bosselli and Carrillo), but they can also be weak in defense as they’ve shown last week.
