Arsenal – Aldosivi

Sarandi Arsenal showed another worrying performance last Thursday and ended up suffering a devastating 2-0 away defeat to league leaders Gimnasia LP. Following that result, the team are now on seven league games without a win, drawing four and losing three in that spell. El Viaducto remain on 20 points in 19 matches in the Liga Profesional, which places them only six points above the first relegation spot in the respective table, occupied by Aldosivi.

Aldosivi’s crisis continue getting deeper and deeper game after game. Last Wednesday, they succumbed to a 2-1 home defeat to Newell’s Old Boys after another disappointing performance. El Tiburon are now winless in their last five league games (drawing two and losing three): they remain on 13 points after 19 rounds in the Liga Profesional and continue sitting into one of the relegation spots in the respective table, six behind Sarandi Arsenal and CA Central Cordoba who are safe.

Must win game for both as they are fighting to avoid relegation, while Arsenal is not in their best form, Aldosivi are just terrible lately so I expect a home win.
