Argentinos Juniors rescued an important home point against San Lorenzo following a scoreless draw in spite of having suffered a sending-off in the second half. In addition, Diego Dabove’s men have been strong at home lately: they hold a 13-game unbeaten run at Estadio Diego Armando Maradona, with seven victories and six draws.
Aldosivi settled for a scoreless draw against Estudiantes at home in an uneventful match last Saturday. That point stopped their three-game losing run in the first-division action. Aldosivi players Gaston Gil Romero and Marcos Miers had to be replaced against Estudiantes due to their knee injuries and will miss out.
