Argentinos Jrs v Talleres

Argentinos Juniors put up a good fight on their visit to Boca Juniors last time out, but they ended up losing 1-0 in a hard-fought game. Following that result, El Bicho are without a win in their last three league games (and without even scoring), drawing two and losing one in that time. That streak kept them on 19 points in the Liga Profesional, which is still enough to stay occupying one of the Copa Sudamericana places in the aggregate table. Argentinos are unbeaten in their last five at home, with two victories and three stalemates.

Talleres wasted a big chance last time out, when they had to settle for a disappointing scoreless home stalemate against arch-rivals Belgrano after playing against ten men since the second minute of the game. However, they are now going through a five-match unbeaten streak of three victories and two draws, which allows them to accumulate 31 points in the Liga Profesional, trailing leaders Velez Sarsfield by five. In fact, La T are still occupying one of the Copa Libertadores spots in the aggregate table. Talleres beat River Plate 1-0 in their last away game to stop a five-game winless run of three draws and two losses on the road in domestic action.

After Velez drew on Friday, Talleres has a big chance of getting closer with a win here. They are definitely better than Argentinos so I have to trust them at these odds to at least avoid a defeat.
