Aldosivi vs Velez
Aldosivi are getting worse game after game. Last Thursday, the team played a terrible game and suffered a deserved 2-0 away defeat at Godoy Cruz in a six-pointer regarding relegation. El Tiburon remain on eight points in 13 matches after losing five of their last seven league matches (along with one victory and one draw), which places them into the drop zone, four points behind the first safe spot in the aggregate table, occupied by CA Central Cordoba. Furthermore, Aldosivi are the worst home team in the league, taking four points from 18 available and having lost the last three matches without even scoring. Striker Martin Cauteruccio has served his one-game suspension and is available.
While advancing in the Copa Libertadores, Velez Sarsfield continue living through difficult times in the league. Last Sunday, the team had to settle for a 1-1 home draw against Gimnasia LP in an interesting game. As a result, El Fortin are on nine Liga Profesional matches without a win (drawing six and losing three) and accumulate only ten points in 13 matches, without any big aims for the rest of the domestic season. Alexander Medina’s men have been winless on the road in this competition, registering four draws and three defeats so far. Â
Both are unreliable but should play an intense game as a draw is completely useless, so I have to expect goals here specially with Cauteruccio back for the hosts.
