La Lepra accumulated 26 points in this competition to hold onto their Copa Sudamericana berth in the aggregate table. Newell’s won their last away game at Velez Sarsfield to stop a five-game winless streak of one draw and four defeats on the road.
If Aldosivi plays again like last Thursday vs Independiente, they are definitely bound to get relegated. They looked completely clueless, and they should also struggle against this Newell’s that won two in a row.
