Aldosivi – Arsenal

Aldosivi are starting to show slight improvements under recently-appointed coach Martin Palermo: following a 0-0 away draw at Newell’s Old Boys, the team collected four points from the last six on offer in the league. However, their campaign is very poor in general terms: having lost the previous eight games, El Tiburon collected only 17 points in this tournament, which places them bottom in the relegation table. Aldosivi won their last home match over Independiento to break a four-game losing run at Estadio Jose Maria Minella.

Sarandi Arsenal (the worst team of the season) were beaten by Gimnasia LP 1-0 at home last Wednesday, which represented their fourth consecutive game without a win (two draws and two defeats). Having won only one of the last 14 league games (along sith six stalemates and seven losses), they accumulated only 13 points, which keeps them in the 25th spot of the Liga Profesional’s table and now they have only five teams below in the relegation rankings. Furthermore, Arsenal haven’t claimed any successes in their last nine league matches on the road, drawing two and losing seven.

Aldosivi got 4 of the last 6 points showing signs of improvement lately, Arsenal just can’t be any worse than this, so I’m going with the hosts to win here.
